Like many small business owners, entrepreneurship runs in Sarah’s family. As a young woman, she worked for her aunt in Kampala, Uganda. “I learned the business of selling shoes from her. When the time came, I left her to start my own business,” Sarah remembers. To launch and grow her business, Sarah received support from Accion partner UGAFODE Microfinance Limited.
