Originally from South Sudan, Nyabang and her husband came to Ethiopia to escape conflict in her home country. Nyabang’s business is essential to her journey to build a new life for her family in Ethiopia, where she sells household items at her small store in a refugee settlement.
We’re working to help women refugees in Ethiopia and Uganda open and grow small businesses, with our local partners Elebat Solutions, UGAFODE Microfinance Limited, and Soko Uganda, and with support from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
Learn more about how refugee women can build better futures for their families with help from inclusive digital tools, financial resources, and supportive training.
