Vishal Ajmera is the Senior Director, Agri Lead serving on Accion Advisory in India. In his role, Vishal focuses on designing and innovative and collaborative business models and delivering financial products that cater to customers’ needs in agricultural value chains in emerging markets. These products include credit, insurance, and savings options that are scalable and tailored to customer requirements.

Before joining Accion, Vishal was a product & technology evangelist at Tulaa in Kenya, where he executed and led product development-related activities, including enhancing strategy and vision through improved product-market-channel models, stakeholder management, and product development efficiency to interlace pre-existing business strategies, including product roadmaps and vision, while delivering to new investors. He also led a product team at Amazon in Luxembourg and the United States, where he was responsible for overseeing technology resource planning on business requirements, agile sprint management, stakeholder communication, and initiating KYC and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes and product plans for integrated technology platforms.

Vishal holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He also holds an MBA from INSEAD in France & Singapore. Vishal is fluent in four languages: English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Swahili.
