He brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry providing guidance on global best practices for effective implementation of credit and risk management tools in individual lending institutions (consumer, microfinance, retail, and SME). Since joining Accion, Andrés has worked to build a comprehensive risk framework that integrates best practices and innovative risk management tools with the complexities inherent to providing credit to informal clients and support financial inclusion through alternative scoring tools and data analytics.
