Jasiel Martin-Odoom serves as the Investment Officer, Africa, Accion Venture Lab. In his role, he leads Venture Lab’s Africa business, making investments in innovative fintech solutions with an inclusive focus. Additionally, he supports the portfolio companies of Venture Lab, aiding them to scale their growth and enhance their impact. Prior to his tenure at Accion, Jasiel was a Senior Investment Associate at the Unreasonable Collective, a pledge fund committed to directing diverse capital and resources towards Series A climate-tech companies on a global scale.

Beyond his professional responsibilities, Jasiel is a passionate communicator with a flair for writing. He regularly shares insightful commentary on African tech, startups, and gender-lens investing via his Twitter account (@jasielinvests).
